The right service depends on whether your seasonal tires are already mounted on rims. We price mounted changeovers and loose-tire mounting separately, offer six-month or one-year storage for a complete tire-and-wheel set, and quote winter tire-and-rim packages for the exact vehicle fitment.

We complete a final check and, when selected, arrange storage for the off-season tire-and-wheel set.

Questions Before You Book?
01What is the difference between a mounted changeover and mounting and balancing?
A mounted changeover is for a seasonal set that is already installed on its own rims; we exchange the complete wheel assemblies. Mounting and balancing is required when the tires are loose and must first be fitted to rims and balanced.
02When should I change to winter tires?
A widely used Canadian guideline is to install four winter tires when temperatures consistently approach 7°C or below, rather than waiting for the first major snowfall. Book early because seasonal appointments fill quickly.
03Do you install tires larger than 21 inches?
Loose-tire mounting and balancing is available only up to 21 inches. We do not currently offer that service for 22-inch-and-larger wheels.
04What does tire and wheel storage include?
The base plan covers storage of one complete set of four tires mounted on rims for six months at $150 or one year at $270. Rim cleaning can be added for $30.
05Do all locations offer tire storage?
Storage capacity can vary by location and season. Contact your preferred EE Auto location before booking so we can confirm space.
06What information should I provide when booking?
Please provide the vehicle year, make and model, the tire size shown on the sidewall, and whether the seasonal tires are already mounted on rims. A photo of the tire-size marking can help prevent errors.
07Can worn or damaged tires still be installed?
We visually inspect the set before service. Tires or wheels with visible damage, unsafe wear, fitment problems, or other safety concerns may require further assessment or may be declined.
08Can I buy a winter tire and rim package?
Yes. Packages are quoted by vehicle year, make, model, fitment, selected tire and rim, and current availability, so the website does not show a single fixed package price.
09Do wheel nuts need to be re-torqued?
Follow the re-torque instructions provided for your vehicle and service. If you are unsure, contact the servicing location before driving an extended distance.
